Passion behind the Brand Award

Yesterday at the Central South Food & Drink Trade Expo in Southampton, we were honoured to receive the Taste of the Central South Award for “Passion Behind the Brand.”

This recognition means so much to us — not just as a business, but as a family. It celebrates the energy, authenticity and love that go into every bottle of Two&One Olive Oil. Our passion for the craft is something we inherited from my father, Alfonso Rubio. He believed that taking care of the olive trees in harmony with nature, harvesting carefully, and milling wisely were the keys to creating exceptional olive oil. Long before it was widely discussed, he spoke about polyphenols, monounsaturated fats, and the power of olive oil as a healthy fat — so much so that he never allowed any other oils or even butter in our kitchen. My dad’s passion and dedication continue to shape who we are as a brand and as a family. This recognition is as much his as it is ours — and we proudly dedicate it to him.

To have that ethos recognised by industry peers is truly humbling. This award reminds us why we do what we do and inspires us to keep sharing our story, a fusion of Spanish heritage and British passion, with every pour, every tasting, and every conversation we have about quality olive oil.
