Meet our team: Alberto, orchard manager
When I think of my cousin Alberto Rubio, I think of family roots, just like the olive trees that have been part of our lives for generations. Named after our grandad, Alberto also inherited his wisdom and love of nature. He is the heart of our olive orchard, and his connection to the land is something special.
As the orchard manager, Alberto determines what makes a healthy tree and, in turn, the exceptional oil that we all enjoy through Two&One. He liaises with local shepherds to gather manure, to enrich the soil and nurture the trees. Along with the dried leaves from pruning and those that fall during harvest, he ensures that nothing goes to waste. His approach honours the land, respects tradition, and supports the future of our family’s olive oil.
Alberto’s young family sometimes joins him among the trees, making it clear that for him, this isn’t just work; it’s legacy and love in action. He takes great pride in the quality of our olive oil. When you taste Two&One olive oil, you’re tasting the result of generations of knowledge, the careful work of a man who loves the land, and a family tradition that he carries forward with care.
